HBW-Gubesch Thermoforming GmbH (the former Jacob Plastics GmbH) is engaged in the production of ultra-lightweight, tough structures in high-performance fibre composite and sandwich parts for use in sports articles and automotive engineering for more than 10 years.

HBW is processing parts out of SymaLITE Material with local functionalisation (air duct for cooling breaks) such as under body cover (e.g. for Porsche). Furthermore HBW is developing lightweight parts for seating and energy absorbing parts out of thermoplastic materials with local reinforcement for automotive applications.

The HBW-Gubesch Group is a number one tier for decorative parts in the automobile industry. It deals with all decoration technologies like IMD, IMD Pro, film insert Moulding, MultiDecoMoulding and Painting.
